With this in mind, we have opened up access to both sides of the school site at lunchtime play and our staff team have worked together to introduce many enhancements to children’s play spaces and play times so far this year. These include a daily dancefloor with music to bop to, a scooter circuit, den building equipment, dressing up clothes and boxes of small world toys. We have also taken delivery of dozens of tyres, which the children have loved stacking, rolling and building with! Alongside our reading shelter and two sports areas, there really is something for everyone, with further improvements to be introduced later in the year.

Ultimately, we believe that the provision of high quality play opportunities within a carefully considered environment is fundamental to our vision of nourishing our children to flourish in the world.
