Over the course of their stay, the children tackled a variety of adventurous pursuits, including abseiling down the long drop, archery and mastering the high ropes course. For many, these activities represented a chance to push beyond their comfort zones, with supportive cheers from classmates creating a truly encouraging atmosphere.

Evenings were filled with campfire songs, games, and the chance to unwind together, strengthening friendships. Staff were impressed by the children’s enthusiasm, perseverance, and positive attitudes throughout the trip.

Reflecting on the visit, one Year 4 pupil said, “I was a bit nervous at first, but I ended up loving every minute of it. I feel so proud of what I achieved!”

The trip was a memorable milestone in the children’s primary school journey, equipping them with skills and memories that will last a lifetime.
