I hope you’ve had lovely weekends with your families. Once again, thank you to everyone who is keeping in touch and sending me pictures or documents of your work. It’s really helping me stay sane and put a huge smile on my face! I’m glad to hear how much my videos are helping everyone as well 🙂
This week, we have a Bank Holiday on Friday to celebrate VE day! Because of this, you will find work for Monday to Thursday, but there are a few ideas for VE day as well…
Maths will be finishing off Roman numerals, and then looking at time worded problems! We will be looking at timetables at some point this week (a huge life skill we all need) so I’ve used real life train and bus timetables. The PDFs can be found below, and you might want to watch the maths videos on how to use a timetable…
The Wider Curriculum this week is themed across 2 days, and is all about Covid-19 and how we are all ‘Living Through History’ which is an incredible thought! It’s a chance to think about how you are feeling so far, what you are looking forward to, and to create a time capsule! Just think what the future you will think when you find it!
There is also another German task courtesy of Frau Griggs!
Optional tasks include a funny social distancing task inspired by Whirlow Farm, and creating your own workout routine for others! I’ve rolled back the years to the 80s for Wake and Shake this week. Get listening to Duran Duran!
With English, there is a video here to help you get a feeling for this week’s task…
