We were extremely excited to be able to open up the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) for use for all of our children today. The children absolutely loved being out in the sunshine and running around on our new sports area. It was a beautiful day on Friday, so we took the opportunity to do some outdoor learning! First, we used our known facts to find missing angles of overlapping masking tape. Later, we had a grammar treasure hunt!

With hoods up and wellies on, we headed out on our first proper school trip to Matlock Farm. The weather couldn’t have been wetter, but it didn’t stop us from having fun. This afternoon, Y6 visited Sheffield Hallam University for their Nutrition Fair. The children were invited to try foods, learn about the nutritional benefits of different foods and speak to representatives from the university about how to stay healthy.
