This morning, year 5 were treated to a whole host of environmental-themed activities. While some children learnt about marine pollution (and even made some actual polluted seawater with seagulls and bottom feeding fish!), others considered our local environment and crafted bird feeders from junk modelling materials.
The morning was planned and delivered by a very able group of Geography students from Sheffield Hallam University. They had planned a tremendous morning and everyone in year 5 loved every moment.
A huge thank you to the students from Sheffield Hallam and massive well done to Year 5 children for welcoming our visitors so warmly.
