To mark Remembrance Day, the whole school took part in a Creative Writing morning.

Children were welcomed with a sea of Poppies which had been made by them earlier in the week. Following a Remembrance assembly, which the year 6 children led, the whole school wrote their own poems.

The atmosphere in school was fantastic and it was lovely to see children putting so much thought into their own poems. The writing that the children did was amazing and really showed their understanding of why we commemorate Armistice Day.
