By Renan Ovayolu and Moriah Catterall
On Wednesday 8th of June, Y5 walked down to Abbeydale sports club to play Kwick Cricket with 2 other schools (Dore Primary and Eccesall junior ) There were so malicious wins. There was a mixed team (boys and girls) team boys team and a girls team. The mixed team lost 3 matches and drew 1 match; the boys won 2 matches; the girls won an amazing game against Dore.
Despite the warm and humid weather, we still had four amazing games of cricket. There was tension on the boy’s pitch when the final Totley match came down to a nail-biting finale. Victory was snatched from Totley, and they lost by only one run! Nevertheless, they tried their hardest and gave it their all.
“We had lots of fun it was and amazing experience: I really enjoyed It,” explained Renan, a Y5 pupil at Totley. Moriah explained how she loved the day. All of Y5 enjoyed this day. Y5 were great role models for Totley.
